He was a friend of Edward Gierek, a Polish communist, a Soviet "illegal", a recognized expert in the coffee trade, a Costa Rican diplomat, and before that, a multiple murderer. Even later, he was a historian of the papacy and a Latin Americanist. He influenced the course of history many times, killing on behalf of Stalin. I titled this video "Stalin's Favorite Killer".
