Paragliding Vol Biv from Annecy to Charbon in July 2023

Charlie and I set out the day after my birthday to try our very first vol biv adventure. We set a manageable goal of the Petit Tour du Lac with a breakaway at the end towards Le Trelod to find a spot to land and camp. The first part of the flight went well so I decided to extend over towards the Parmelan to make a slightly more ambitious triangle. After a lovely 3h flight, we made our goal and top landed near Mt Charbon. We saw a nice looking refuge at the end of the ridge and so popped there for some extra sustenance before making camp. The morning after was a simple glide back to the car. What an adventure!
