Mar adentro, Goya 2005 a Mejor Guión Original
Alejandro Amenábar and Mateo Gil won the 2005 Goya Award for Best Original Screenplay for The Sea Inside. Victoria Abril performed "Ah! Tu verás" during the presentation of the award. The 19th Goya Awards ceremony was held on January 30, 2005, at the Municipal Congress Palace in Madrid and was hosted by Antonio Resines, Montserrat Caballé, and Maribel Verdú.
