Sokołów Podlaski was the home of writer and reporter Mordechai Tsanin. Before the war, most of the town's inhabitants were Jews. Visiting his hometown after the war, Tsanin found none of his old Jewish acquaintances. Today, eighty years after the Holocaust, do contemporary Sokołów residents remember the city's shared Polish-Jewish history? How many traces of that memory can be found there?
