A Dream Come True - Turbo Slant Six Gets Home Cylinder Head Overhaul And A Long Awaited Test Drive!

The day has finally arrived. This project has been many years in the scheming and planning, and many months in the actual doing - but today, it's finally going to be completed to the point of a test rip up and down the street. First though, we've got one big problem... At the end of the last video, as soon as the engine was up and running with some extra air induction from the eBay special T3/T4 hybrid turbo, it became very apparent that the head gasket was no longer winning with us. Exhaust was pouring out of the hole where I hadn't yet installed a thermostat - to an impressive degree. So today, it's time to fix that with a random head gasket I found on the internet and some ARP studs. And since the head will be off anyway, now would be the perfect time for some basic cylinder head upgrades and freshening. So follow along as I lightly port the slant six cylinder head, clean up the valves and lap the valve seats (twice,) and beef up the valve springs with some factory 340 parts. And then, it's finally time for the moment I've all been waiting for.
