Family builds 2-container & orchard homestead. All fits inside greenhouse home

Anki lives inside a greenhouse. It started with two affordable prefab containers on a plot of land at the edge of a Swedish national park, but what came next changed everything: she wrapped the whole structure in glass, creating her own warm, Mediterranean climate inside a cold Nordic forest. Inside, fig and apricot trees grow alongside tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers, fed by an automated rainwater system. The containers hold the practical rooms, kitchen, bathroom, home office, while the greenhouse space in between has become where she actually spends her life. She works from home most days, and when she needs a break, she steps outside her office door into the garden instead of a hallway. Anki says the plants have become part of her daily rhythm in a way she didn't expect. Tending them, watching them grow, picking dinner straight from the vine, she describes it as something that keeps her mood steady in a way she has never felt living under an ordinary roof. Visitors who come through, she says, all tell her the same thing: they wish they lived this way too. The greenhouse has also proven its worth beyond comfort. Through storms that have damaged conventional homes nearby, hers has stayed intact, further convincing her that building this way was not just a lifestyle choice but a sound one.   / ankis_naturhus   On *faircompanies: https://faircompanies.com/videos/fami...
