Fatbiking with the Manitou Mastodon Pro Ext 120mm fork
I added the Manitou Mastodon Pro Ext fork with 120mm suspension travel to the Farley 9.6. What a game changer! I can ride faster, so I don't have to slow down in technical sections. The front tire has much better grip and steering. I would call this fork as a heavyweight champion! The weight is actually helping a lot! Rigid carbon Farley is normally back heavy, but the suspension adds more weight in front. The Farley becomes nose heavy, but I have adjusted my riding position to be more back. I have a very short stem and setback seatpost. The fork is a huge change in my rig, especially in bike balance. My rig becomes more trail friendly. Awesome update indeed! The total weight of the bike is about 13.5kg.
