Preparing for the Oxford English Literature Admissions Test: Planning Your Essay & Final Tips

This is a recording of our final 2023 ELAT livestream. The livestreams are designed to help students applying for English Language and Literature at the University of Oxford prepare for the admissions test. In this session Lucinda Rumsey (Mansfield English tutor) and four students look at two of the passages and think about how the theme is conveyed in a piece of drama and a poem, through poetic and dramatic devices, sentence structure, word order, and choice and use of vocabulary.
