This week I’m starting the restoration of a WAY rare set of early 60’s American Racing Torq-Thrust “D” wheels; often referred to as the “Crow’s Foot” wheel, and what is also known as the Trans-Am wheel, these wheels would also be “correct-appearing” for one quite famous ‘68 Mustang Fastback that graced the Silver Screen with Steve McQueen behind the wheel 50 short years ago!!! This will be a two-parter, as most of my videos are. As most of you have rather short attention spans, and I…work slowly. This week we’ll get the wheels cleaned up and repair the lug holes and washer recesses, and next week we’ll dive into polishing and paint. So be sure to check back!
