We are testing the Canon FD 55mm f/1.2 S.S.C – a vintage Full Frame lens, that is optically close to the legendary 55mm Aspherical & K35 Cine Lens of the same focal lengths… but lacking the Aspherical element. The K35 have been used in iconic movies like Aliens and Barry Lyndon, and they are very popular as the are one of the view vintage cine lenses that cover full frame / vista vision sensors. The Canon FD Aspherical are ideal candidates for cine modding or rehousing that had an amazing development in value over the last years. Can the 55mm S.S.C. hold up?
