THE PROPERTIES OF SURAH WAQIGA It is stated in the Hadiths: “Whoever makes it a habit to recite Surah Waqiga once every night, he will never experience poverty in his life.” “Surah Waqiga is a Surah of wealth. Recite it and teach it to your wives and children.” One day, Hazrat Abu Bakr said to Rasulullah (peace be upon him), “O Rasulullah, your hair has started to turn gray.” To this, our beloved Prophet (peace be upon him) replied: “Surahs Hud, Waqiga and Mursalat have turned my hair and beard gray.” The reason why Rasulullah (peace be upon him) said this was because of the conditions of the Day of Judgment, the conditions that previous communities had to face, and his sorrow for his Ummah. Hazrat Abdullah bin Mas’ud opened his eyes and said: “I will leave Surah Waqiga for them. "Whoever recites this Surah will never experience poverty."
