June 30, 2011: Arrival of Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge in Ottawa, Canada. The Government of Canada is honoured that Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge (Prince William and Kate Middleton) are in Canada on their first international tour as a married couple. The Royal Couple celebrated their wedding at Westminster Abbey on April 29, 2011. The 2011 Royal Tour of Canada provides Canadians with the opportunity to highlight their history, traditions, and shared values, while also strengthening our Canadian identity.
