Ms Audrey Bedeau nee Gay speaks about growing up in Carriacou
On our trip to Bedford, England, we had the pleasure of sitting down with Mrs. Audrey Bedeau (née Gay) for a chat. She shared fond memories of her childhood in Carriacou during the 1930s and 40s, as well as her journey to England and her experiences working there. Mrs. Bedeau was unfortunately displaced by Hurricane Beryl and is looking forward to the completion of her home so she can return. We also had the opportunity to chat with some of her children, making it a truly warm and meaningful visit.
