Caribbean music from the island of Curaçao: benta, tambú, gogorobí...
www.tipikodenhaag.nl Julian Starink had the honour to be able to film 'Tio' Ali Inecia and Sorandy Sint Jacobs performing a range of traditional instruments from the Caribbean island of Curaçao, such as benta (bow), gogorobí (calabash), tambú (drum) and chapi (gardening hoe, played with and iron). The adding of the violin is a non-traditional experimental try-out. Did you know these instruments already? Which of the instruments you like most?
