MORTAL KOMBAT II (2026) - The New Best MK Movie?

Despite 2021's MORTAL KOMBAT Reboot receiving mixed reviews and only being a mild success financially, the movie manged to secure a sequel, which finally released in May 2026 after being delayed from it's original release date of October 2025. MORTAL KOMBAT II actually manages to do what MORTAL KOMBAT (2021) awkwardly decided to omit which is the titular Mortal Kombat Tournament for the fate of earth. the majority of the previous movie's Kast of Kharacters makes their return with the additions of some Klassic fan favorites such as, Johnny Cage, Kitana, Jade, Shao Kahn and Sindel, to actually take part in Mortal Kombat this time. MORTAL KOMBAT II was received much more positively than it's predecessor, but still lingering in the mildly positive reception area.
