How to Study for Exams When You Don't Have Time - Fast Revision Tips | Learn English Online #LearnEnglish #EnglishPodcast #SpokenEnglish Okay, be honest. Your exam is in a few days and you've opened your textbook exactly zero times. That's fine. This episode is not here to judge you it's here to fix it. Liam literally starts this one by admitting his exam is four days away and he hasn't touched a single page. So if that's you, you're in the right place. Sophie and Liam walk through a real, practical revision method together and while they do, you're picking up genuine English vocabulary along the way. Two things at once. The method has three parts: Sort your topics first. Before you open anything, figure out what comes up often in exams and what you're actually weak at. Those go first. Things that almost never appear and you already know well? Skip them completely. This one step alone saves hours. The four-part learning loop for each topic. Look at past questions before you read anything not to get them right, but to understand how the topic is actually tested. Then skim the material for ten minutes to get the shape of it. Then build a light foundation using three habits: reading in layers, comparing related ideas, and drawing a simple diagram instead of writing long notes. Long notes, Sophie says firmly, take forever and rarely help. And finally, do a full round of practice questions - writing down every mistake and actually going back to learn from them. The review system. Without this, half of what you studied disappears by exam day. If you have less than two weeks, don't let more than 48 hours pass without revisiting a weak topic. And in the final week, mix questions from all your weak topics together - because your real exam won't be organized by chapter either. ⏱️ Timestamps: 00:00 Hook — your exam is in a few days and you haven't studied 01:02 Intro 01:07 What is revision, and what is cramming? 02:30 Step one — sort your topics before anything else 04:30 The four-part learning loop explained 05:00 Part one — look at questions first 06:00 Part two — skim the material in ten minutes 07:00 Part three — build a light foundation fast 09:00 Part four — full question round and tracking mistakes 10:30 Step three — the review system 11:30 Spaced reviews — the 48-hour rule 12:30 Mixed question sessions in your final week 13:00 Quick summary of the full method 13:38 Outro how to study for exams when you have no time fast revision tips that work last minute exam study tips how to cram for an exam smart revision method 48 hour review rule study learn english study tips Comment below in English: how many days before an exam do you usually start studying?
