A City Worth Visiting? Kutaisi, Georgia!

My last full day in Kutaisi, Georgia, and I’m heading into the hills — quite literally! After grabbing some freshly baked khachapuri from a local bakery, I jump on the cable car to reach an eerie amusement park, before making my way to the iconic Bagrati Cathedral. Built in 1033 and full of history (and controversy), it’s one of the most dramatic viewpoints in the city. Along the way, I chat to locals, battle the summer heat, reflect on running in a new country, and work out how Georgia compares to my time in Thailand. This is unscripted, raw travel — as always.
