Best potatoes on the Blackstone Adventure 21. These started as small (about golf ball sized) red potatoes. I stabbed them all with a fork twice. Then it was in the microwave for three minutes. Let them cool Now cut them in half. The larger ones I quarter. Fire up the Blackstone, and warm it up on low to medium low. I don’t worry about temperature because low to medium low works perfect. When the Blackstone is warmed up spread out a good helping of olive oil. About a quarter cup. Now toss the potatoes on the griddle and give them a flip a few times to coat them with the oil. After they have sat for about half a minute I give them a dusting of the following Franks Powder Black Pepper Onion Powder Garlic Powder Salt Give them another toss and then let them cook for a bit. Toss them occasionally and when you notice the griddle starting to dry give it another shot of oil. Now start watching for the outsides to start showing that they are getting a crust. This is what you are looking for. Once again give them another dusting of spices. The total amount I used for both dustings is as follows. Franks Powder 1 Tablespoon Black Pepper 1/2 Tablespoon Onion Powder 1/2 Tablespoon Garlic Powder 1 Tablespoon Salt 1 tablespoon. Once all the potatoes have a good crust on them it’s time to pull them. These are great for breakfast with eggs and bacon, and they are just as good with dinner of a good steak.
