Making An End Fed Half Wave Antenna for 40-10 Meters In this video we make a 40-10 meter EFHW antenna. This antenna uses a 66ft radiator and a 17ft counterpoise. But the real magic is on the inside. An EFHW antenna has a nominal impedance of 2450 ohms. All transceivers want to see a 50ohm impedance. Well, we need a transformer.
