In this video, I review the PC versions of the classic Mortal Kombat games: Mortal Kombat 1, 2, 3, 4, and Mortal Kombat Trilogy, a line that many forget, but that has a lot to tell. 32 years after that legendary September 13, 1993, we gathered for "Mortal Sunday" to review the PC incarnations of Mortal Kombat. We'll compare their differences with the original arcade versions and the more popular Super Nintendo and Sega Genesis ports. Was the violence maintained? How faithful was the gameplay? And the graphics? For many of us, experiencing these PC versions meant leaving the limitations of 16-bit gaming behind. However, due to the high cost of owning a computer in the mid-nineties, many of us were only able to enjoy them towards the end of the decade... and boy, was it worth it! And as a nice bonus for collectors, all these versions came in those large PC boxes that are now true relics.
