Gang Boss Kenneth “Big Tom” Flowers Murdered in Belize City 🇧🇿

In April 2025 I met and filmed Kenneth “Big Tom” Flowers in Belize City for the second time — a man whose reputation preceded him, and whose life took so many dramatic turns. Today we bring you never-before-seen footage of that encounter. Kenneth “Big Tom” Flowers was a notorious street figure, once the recognized boss of the Backatown area, who had survived numerous attempts on his life and in recent years publicly signalled a desire to reform. Tragically, on Monday 6 October 2025, Flowers was gunned down in the Backatown / Sittee Street area of Belize City, while driving his vehicle. He suffered a gunshot wound to the chest, crashed his vehicle after the shooting, and later succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. A suspect, 50-year-old tour guide Sydney Peyrefitte Jr., was arrested and charged with his murder. Investigators say Flowers had been shot by Peyrefitte, who admitted under caution to firing the shots. The motive is believed to involve a personal relationship dispute rather than gang business.
