We stayed in a TINY HOUSE in Lazarus Island!

We had the chance to stay at the new Tiny House at Lazarus Island before they officially opened to the public and this is a quick video to tell you about what they have over there. This is the only way you can stay overnight on the island. You can’t camp overnight on Lazarus, so getting one of these 5 Tiny Houses is your best bet. And yes this means you’ll have the whole island to yourselves at night! This was heaven for introverts, lovers who want to spend more quality time together, and friends who are looking for a getaway on an island away from the mainland. Or those who want to experience camping but still need the comforts of home like aircon, a hot shower, and a proper bed. And of cos wifi. 😂 And privacy, plus the security of being able to lock your doors and keep your belongings safe while you go exploring. ❤️ These tiny houses are eco-friendly, made from recycled plastic and wood fiber, plus they’re solar powered (with a backup of course). They have a waste recycling system to convert food waste to compost w/i 24hrs (that’s pretty impressive). And they also use biodegradable shampoo and body wash. Talk about reducing your carbon footprint! Each house can sleep up to 3 adults or 2 adults + 2 kids. Great if you want to bring your family for a semi-outdoor adventure! We loved that the room was really well-equipped. We were surprised there were soooooo many power points! (We forgot to mention the toaster so you can bring your own bread too!) Don’t forget swimwear of course. It’s one of the few beaches where you can possibly have sunrise/sunset all to yourself! 🌅 And the waters were really clean and nice to swim in! Honestly, we’ve never been to Lazarus Island and we really enjoyed the peace. We saw some really rare blue birds 🐦 outside our house and a monitor lizard casually strolling around too. 😍 You can walk to the neighboring St John’s island (it’s about a 20-minute walk) and make sure to take a short ferry to Kusu Island to visit the tortoises 🐢 too. The tortoises at the temple were super enthusiastic to greet us 😂. Rooms are now open for booking!
