Mega Man Style - Stage 11 (Original)

Here we are back with more SNES goodness! This was what I have originally meant for Stage 10, but I've decided to upload that track as Stage 10 and leave this for 11, whenever I would've finished it. Turns out, not long after Stage 10 got published, so here we are! This is a much more, how shall I put it, daring song? From the way it got tracked to the way I've mangled harmonies and time signatures together. I blocked out the chords first, added flair to them while writing them out, and then had to write the rest of the song around them. It was interesting to say the least. As for the tracking part of it, well, normally I'd track something like this using 2 rows of space for 16th notes. Here I've opted for 3 instead. This allowed me to have a much easier time with triplets, but in turn made each pattern much, much longer. It was worth it for a song like this, though. Fun fact: The SNES sound driver Capcom used prioritizes channels in reverse order - Channel 8 is highest priority, with Channels 2 and 1 being lowest (and, incidentally, where sound effects get played when they need to be played).
