I Built a Second Brain in Claude Code (Andrej Karpathy's Method)

A few months ago Andrej Karpathy shared a simple idea for a "second brain" — an AI-maintained wiki that reads everything you feed it and turns it into a connected web of your own knowledge. I've been running mine ever since. In this video I show you how to build your own in about 10 minutes, with just two free tools and Claude Code — you don't need to be a developer. We collect a few solid sources, let Claude compile them into a linked wiki (it even flags where your sources disagree), and then ask it questions straight from your own knowledge. 🔗 Everything I used: • Andrej Karpathy's LLM Wiki — the method: https://gist.github.com/karpathy/442a... • Obsidian (free — to read your second brain): https://obsidian.md • Obsidian Web Clipper: search "Obsidian Web Clipper" in the Chrome Web Store • Claude Code: https://claude.com/download • Wispr Flow (the AI voice-to-text I dictate with): https://ref.wisprflow.ai/svante-gusta... • VS Code: https://code.visualstudio.com ▶ Want your second brain to ACT on what it knows — connect it to your Gmail & Calendar?
