Paint & Review: Victrix Islamic Infantry [How I Paint Things]

From Constantinople to Antioch and Jerusalem, all the way across North Africa and into Sicily, Malta, and the Iberian Peninsula - the Crusades and the Reconquista would see European powers pitting themselves against the Muslim world for centuries. At the core of almost any fighting force throughout the Middle Ages is a man with a spear or a sword, a shield, and some guts behind it! Painting a score of infantry to a reasonable standard and letting the shield transfers carry a lot of weight is a great way to get the most out of a relatively limited number of colours, too. The Victrix Islamic Infantry & Archers kit can be found here: https://www.victrixlimited.com/produc... Along with all the rest of the (frankly whopping) Victrix range! Check out the video mentioned on how to apply LBMS transfers easily here:    • How to Apply Little Big Men Studios Shield...   Don't forget to peel off the plastic sheet covering them before trying to stick them in place, as I always do! 00:00 - Intro 00:51 - A Brisk Review! 02:41 - Priming Notes 03:41 - Basecoats 09:09 - A Brief Note on Transfers 10:23 - Shading 11:30 - Finishing Touches 14:27 - The Finished Infantry Thanks to Producer Patrons Alan, Kyrie, Andrew, Jimmy, Rod, Phil, Ben, Robison, David Kinney, Fred, and Matt Dischner - as well as all the other Patrons that made this video possible, and Exit23 Games for recording equipment that helps keep the channel ticking over!
