They're both female sheep (ewes). They were raised indoors in the house while being bottle raised and once they were larger and not as vulnerable to predators they were built a large pasture outside to live in. Edie is a Shetland Sheep, a very nice variety of wool sheep that are very gentle and loving. Dasher is a mixed breed between a few different types, she's a lot more independent than Edie, but both are very curious and a joy to have. They're both now full grown and run and play outside with a small flock of other sheep.
