Euphonium Solo: A Little Prayer (Evelyn Glennie) - City of Bradford Brass Band

A live performance by the band's Principal Euphonium player Jolyon Stead of Evelyn Glennie's 'A Little Prayer' from our concert at Skipton Holy Trinity in October 2021. A Little Prayer, a short prayer, is a short work by Evelyn Glennie, one of the most famous percussion soloists in the world. She originally composed this piece for marimba in order to show the soft and intimate sounds of this instrument. Evelyn Glennie herself is blind but that does not prevent her from being a great musician. Her remarkable musical ability makes her a welcome guest on international stages.
