Over the last two days, some listeners have asked me if the English were really supporting Spain in the World Cup final. From what I saw in England itself, they were. The fact is that there is a minority of fanatics in Spain who see the "Anglos" as a kind of villain, an eternal enemy of Spain and the Spanish people, and they project all their hatred onto the English.
