Backdoor Bandits vs Nic Allens

Nic Allens turned Hockey Etcetera - Saputo into a goal factory in a 10-7 win over the Backdoor Bandits, extending an eye-popping early-season roll and underlining why their offense (14.0 GPG entering the night) is the league's headline. The win pushed the Allens' unbeaten streak to seven games and left the Bandits searching for defensive answers despite a fiery effort. The first period was a wild back-and-forth. Matthew Itzkovitz struck twice for the Backdoor Bandits while goals from Taige Soneji, Adam Clark and Hendrik McNulty kept the Nic Allens within striking distance. The visitors took a 4-3 edge into the first intermission. In the second, the Nic Allens wrestled control. Jeremy Clark and James Fitzpatrick trimmed and then flipped the script, while Nico Tsatas replied for the Bandits. A late Adam Clark marker gave the Allens a 6-5 lead heading to the third. Quick strikes from Lucas Arsenault and Anthony D'Arienzo, another from Clark (his third), and a goal from McNulty pushed the margin out; Tristan Gravenor kept fighting with multiple goals for the Bandits, but it wasn't enough in the high-scoring finale. Adam Clark paced the winners with a hat trick, Hendrik McNulty provided secondary fire, and Tristan Gravenor shone in defeat with a multi-goal night.
