Assam: The Cradle of Rice
This documentary is part of such work highlighting the Pich Rice diversity of Assam published for awareness generation of stakeholders. The Documentary highlighted journey of two progressive farmers of Assam-Shri Mohan Chandra Borah (Jorhat) and Smt Sanalembi Devi (Cachar) who has been working in collaboration with ASBB for documentation and conservation of indigenous rice varieties of Assam. The Borjuli wild rice Biodiversity Heritage Site notified by Govt. of Assam for conserving the wild rice (Oryza rufipogon) has also been highlighted in the documentary.
