Amira Willighagen - L'Amore Sei Tu (I Will Always Love You) - 2022

"L'Amore Sei Tu" is the Italian version of "I Will Always Love You," sung here by Amira Willighagen at her "On My Own" 18th birthday steaming concert at the Atterbury Theatre in Pretoria, South Africa on March 20, 2022. The song "I Will Always Love You" was originally written and recorded by Dolly Parton in 1973 and was a top hit. In 1992 Witney Houston recoded an arrangement of the song for the 1992 film "The Bodyguard." This Italian version was composed by the Welsh mezzo-soprano Katherine Jenkins, who first performed it live at Nostell Priory, West Yorkshire in 2005. In this video Amira sings the Italian version especially arranged for her by Devereux van der Hoven-Oosthuizen for her 2022 18th birthday concert and celebration "On My Own." Amira is accompanied by the Phoenix Orchestra led by eminent South African conductor Richard Cock.
