Azores: 8 days between Pico, Faial, Flores and Corvo

In the summer of 2024, I went on a trip I'd been dreaming about for a long time, because I wanted to dive there with the sharks and meet the sperm whales. Horta's harbor is also a mythical place for all sailors in the world. I fulfilled both these dreams and discovered an exceptional archipelago in the heart of the Atlantic Ocean. There, you're not really in Europe any more, and not yet in the United States: you're exactly halfway between Paris and New York. For this trip, I concentrated on Faial, Pico, Corvo - which is already on the American tectonic! - and Flores, the pearl of the archipelago. The western part of the archipelago is also the wildest. It's for people who want to avoid mass-tourisme: this destination is perfect for anyone who loves being outdoors, nature, green, the ocean, its large animals, canyoning, walking and contemplation.
