Who Will Arrive When You Dial 999? - The First Aid Show
This video discusses who will arrive when you call emergency services at 999 or 112. It may not always be an ambulance that arrives first for serious cases like stroke or cardiac arrest. A community responder or a paramedic in a car may arrive first. In some regions, fire service or police service professionals may help out. GoodSAM, an app that alerts qualified people nearby, can also be a useful resource. Additionally, community AED units can be found in local convenience stores to help in situations like cardiac arrest. The key takeaway is to get someone to you as quickly as possible with the right equipment. First Aid Show is provided by ProTrainings Europe Ltd. We offer 350 different course titles as classroom, virtual, hybrid, blended and video online training. We have a network of over 1500 instructors and we offer a one-stop-shop for training and equipment.
