This Flail Mower Mows Almost Anywhere

Today we’re testing the FORZA Sabre 51 ditch bank flail mower around the property to see how useful it really is. This isn’t just a regular flail mower that only sits behind the tractor. The Sabre can offset to the side, run directly behind the tractor like a traditional mower, and angle up or down to reach areas that would normally be difficult, unsafe, or just annoying to mow. In this video, I go over the mower, talk about what it’s used for, show the hammer-style blades, and then put it to work in three different areas around my property. First, we run it in the offset position along the edge of my pond. This is where a ditch bank mower really starts to make sense because I can keep the tractor on safer ground while reaching over toward the pond edge. Next, I move the mower directly behind the tractor and use it like a regular flail mower to cut the field behind my pond. Finally, I angle the mower upward and use it to knock back encroaching weeds and brush along a trail in the woods. This style of mower could be useful for pond banks, ditch banks, field edges, trails, roadsides, fence lines, and other spots where a normal mower or brush hog may not be the best option.
