Discover the story of America's forgotten photographer: O. Winston Link. See how his famous photos shaped our perception of Post-War America, and follow the people that carry his legacy to this day. Beginning in 1955, Link traveled around the Norfolk & Western Railway, the last steam railroad in America. His usage of carefully-placed flash photography at night reinvigorated a new wave of staged photography, and created a portfolio- documenting a lost era of American history. Link's photography also helped spur preservation efforts for the Locomotives seen in his work, allowing them to be saved for today's generation and beyond.
