Crimping and installing all new pilot hoses on an excavator - Hitachi EX120-2

Awhile back, Matt purchased a hose crimper thinking that he would be needing very soon to complete his excavator project. Ha ha ha, good joke right? If only it weren't true. That was 18 months ago, and the mice have since transformed it into their own personal bathroom. Matt spends the first few minutes repairing the shipping damage and incorrectly assembled high quality crimper with "genuine" components made by "Enerpac" (not affiliated with the real Enerpac company) and gets to work. This crimper is taking forever to crimp so many fittings, so what does Matt do? If you guessed that he waits until everything is crimped before finally calibrating and upgrading the crimper to make it useful and not torture to use, you would be correct. With the hoses made, Matt waits for the coldest night of the year to begin installing them. Fortunately Matt marked many lines with zip ties that have since changed colors or faded after sitting outside for a year, good luck getting those back together right! When will this excavator be done? 2025? 2035? 4056?
