Princess Kiko of Akishino is in Tottori Prefecture to attend the "National Blood Donation Promotion Conference" held in Yonago City. On July 9th, she visited a facility for supporting people with disabilities in Hoki Town and a high school in Hino Town. Princess Kiko was dressed in a checkered dress and white jacket. On the afternoon of the 9th, she visited a facility for supporting employment for people with disabilities in Hoki Town and was welcomed by Tottori Prefecture Governor Hirai and others. This is Princess Kiko's ninth visit to Tottori Prefecture, and her first in seven years since she and her husband attended the "National Greenery Protection Gathering" held in Tottori City in 2019. At the facility, the users performed a choral rendition of "Niji" (Rainbow), which they had practiced for about two months, incorporating sign language. She then watched the "Kojin Kagura," a traditional local performing art that the students are carrying on as part of their club activities. Princess Kiko listened attentively to the explanation of the students' activities in the local performing arts club.
