Intento de robo de camioneta en Conocoto es frustrado por la dueña

Individuals in a vehicle attempted to steal a pickup truck parked in the Conocoto area, southeast of Quito, but the owner noticed and thwarted the crime by running away and calling for help. Security cameras captured the gang's modus operandi: first, they disabled the vehicle's alarm and then returned minutes later to complete the theft. The National Police report that they have already identified some of the alleged perpetrators thanks to citizen reports and video footage, while residents of the area confirm that the vehicle used by the suspects is now well-known.
