Amtrak P40DC & P42DC Engines on the Surfline

Watch in HD!! Amtrak GE Genesis engines on the Surfline in June/July 2016. With the unreliable nature of the F59PHI units these days, the P40 and P42DC engines help service the Surfline on a regular basis now. I caught several of them in action at many different locations in Southern California over the last few months. P40/P42DC Engines include: 165 202 196 816 821 Locations include: San Diego Sorrento Valley Downtown Los Angeles Santa Barbara El Capitan Encinitas Solana Beach San Clemente All have pretty decent K5LA horns!
