Por qué me robé una GALLINA. Un día que jamás olvidaré.

Yes, you read that right: I once stole a chicken. I was in eighth grade… and I also had fears, impulses, made bad decisions, and a story I can now tell without hiding it. In this episode of "A Coffee with Teacher Monica," I'm not here to justify myself, I'm here to reflect. Because sometimes we think honesty means never making mistakes… when in reality it begins the moment we're able to recognize who we were, understand why we acted that way, and decide to do things differently. This isn't just an anecdote: it's the starting point for many conversations I have in schools today about ethics, decisions, and humanity. Because we aren't perfect. We are processes. And perhaps the true lesson isn't in never failing… but in what we do after we fail. ☕ Welcome to this coffee, where we also learn from what hurt.
