Every so often we are lucky enough to have a days fishing that goes perfectly to plan - a real 'Red letter Day'. I thought it would be fun to talk about some of those days or sessions down the years that have been marked in red ink in my diary; the really special trips. Let's start off with some crucian fishing back in 2013-14 that was truly unbelievable, and which was far more than I ever expected. I'll talk about the plans and tactics, the approach to the venue and the baits and rigs used, hopefully explaining why it all panned out so well, even if it was more luck than judgement at the time!
