NYC's ICONIC Jewish Market! Is Zabar's Worth the Hype?

It's a Jewish supermarket that actually has a lot of interesting selections. Most notably, the Zabar's cheese selection can be quite extensive and good quality, and they also have many Jewish deli staples, like pastrami sandwiches on rye and etc. However, Zabar's may be most known for their lox. The Zabar's nova salmon may be the best in the city. Some people even come to Zabar's just to have the Zabar's lox and bagels! I have been to Zabar's many times. I have shopped inside the supermarket before but I have spent most of my visit at the Zabar's cafe, where at a time when I was down on my luck I really enjoyed the salmon chowder and bread combo. Today, we will be going on a fuller Zabar's tour and exploring the entire supermarket and also trying some of the items at the Zabar's cafe.
