2019-03-14 Driving 222 south from Allentown to Leesport, I drove down 222 south to Route 61 to Leesport, PA. Some of my driving videos for historical records Camera is a Sony HDR-AS200V, 1080p 60fps, screwed into the antenna hole* Of interest; it snowed 4 days ago. A tucker go on to the highway and ice sheets started to fly off the top of the trailer. You can't see it well on the wide angle camera, but can get an idea at 17m 55s and onward. Notice the white cloud on the road? Its from the snow and ice coming off. I tried to say back. What makes this even worse is at 17m 34s you can see a cop on the side of the road watching for speeders. I know he saw the snow and ice coming off the trailer because I let go of the gas while on the left hand side of the road and looked over. His head was turned left watching the trailer in the distance. Officer saw the ice and snow coming off the trailer and choose to do nothing. Really? Lets protect and serve. Will the potential of getting someone for speeding be more rewarding then going after this trucker. This is extremely dangerous. The ice could seriously damage someones car or cause bodily injury or even death. You know the trucker is not going to stop. Driver was going 5mph over the speed limit most of the time, and at 27m 34s you can see the driver fly through the yellow light at the crossing of genesis dr and tramarack blvd going more then the post 40mph limit. This is an especially dangerous area as a few years ago another trucker did this and crashed into the dunkin doughnut sign after hitting a few cars.
