Czech Verb Conjugation in Present Tense 🎬 Quick Guide

In this video, you will learn the basics of verb conjugation of all four groups: -á, -í, -ovat and -e verbs. How can you know which verb belongs to which group? You can be guided by major infinitive endings. Most verbs that finish with -at belong to the 1st group (dělat, říkat, čekat...) + mít and ptát se. Verbs that finish in -et, -ět or -it belong to the 2nd group (bydlet, myslet, slyšet...) + jíst, spát. Verbs of the 3rd group are the easiest to identify - they all finish with -ovat (pracovat, potřebovat, kupovat). The 4th group is full of irregular verbs; they often end in -át (psát, hrát) or -st/-ct (číst, nést, moct...). 👉 I recommend getting my PDF verbs sheet with common verbs & conjugation in the present tense: https://www.buymeacoffee.com/czechbyz... 📚 Visit my website and see what e-books I offer: https://czechbyzuzka.com/e-books/ 🍵 Do you want to support my work with a one-time contribution?
