And how did we get 40 thieves onto our little stage?!? Join us for a roller coaster of panto fun to find out! This scene is Part 1 of Scene 1 from our 2020 production of Ali Baba. In this scene in the market square, after the villagers have had a song and dance, we are introduced to our dame Hettie and her stupid daughter, Shahdi. We then meet Hettie's son and our hero Ali Baba, and Hettie's sisters, Jettie, Nettie and Swettie, who talk about their plans to become pop stars after forming the first all-girl pop group called 'The Spiced Girls' - no one is ever going to think of doing that in the far-distant future, are they?!?
