Best Present For Retro Gaming Fans! | Evercade Alpha Bartop Arcade Review

Unboxing & reviewing the Evercade Alpha Bartop Arcade, Mega Man Edition - one of the best retro consoles for old-school gamers! Here we show off the classic design and many features of the Evercade Alpha Mega Man bartop arcade, while also exploring the games catalogue. Check out my review of the EXP handheld console for a more portable alternative. I'm already a fan of the excellent Evercade console and cartridge line-up, which is a loving (if not cheap) way for retro gaming fans to replay those ageing titles. The Alpha is an excellent home console that supports all of the current cartridges and comes in Mega Man or Street Fighter flavours, although those MM platformers are missing here. The Evercade Alpha only features two lesser known beat-em-up games, alongside some of the best arcade classics like Final Fight and Strider. That 8-inch IPS screen is bright and poppy although CRT style effects can be added, while the Evercade Alpha build also includes beefy stereo speakers. This bartop arcade console also offers responsive clacky controls, controller support and swappable marquees. Overall, the Evercade Alpha isn't cheap, but it's a glorious way to replay retro games and looks great in any gaming setup. Let us know your thoughts below!
