The Itaú Cultural | Observatory web series, created to celebrate the Itaú Cultural Observatory's tenth anniversary, concludes with its sixth episode. The latest edition presents an overview of Brazilian cultural policies implemented to date, offering a critical reflection that identifies areas that still require significant progress. This discussion considers Brazil's cultural diversity. A historical review of some key figures in the study of the evolution of cultural policies—such as Mário de Andrade, Aloisio Magalhães, and Gilberto Gil—is presented, as well as reflections on current plans that require updating and projections regarding policies that may emerge from existing models. The Itaú Cultural | Observatory web series was developed to explore some of the themes that permeate the concerns and reflections of the Itaú Cultural Observatory, highlighting future challenges.
