The Death of Cuchulain, Damien Dempsey
Damien Dempsey showed his support for the Dublin2020 campaign by performing in a number of locations around his favourite city, and shooting a new video with directors Jonathan Lambert and Dean Scurry. Dempsey’s new song, which features lyrics from W.B. Yeats’ poem The Death of Cuchulain, marks what would have been Yeats’ 150th birthday. The shoot locations included Yeats’ Cottage in Howth, Dublin Writers Museum, The Abbey Theatre and The Martello Tower at Sandymount.
