BANGKOK SCENES 1985, 1987 & 1996

From the Archives - Some scenes taken in Bangkok from previous trips where I had access to a video camera. In 1985 I used a Panasonic M3, in 1987 I used a Panasonic M5... in both these camera's you recorded onto the actual VHS video cassette. In 1996 I used a Canon Hi-8. You will notice the picture quality improve as the years progress. Other observations include a quiet Sukhumvit Rd pre-Skytrain, the Superstar Beergarden in Patpong with 25 Baht Amarit Draft and Soi Cowboy with the 'original' Cowboy Bar (don't blink or you'll miss it). As you will see, my videography skills in the 80's were poor, too much zooming.. and fast forward to the present, nothing much has changed, except for the camera!
