I recently spent six days in Da Nang, Vietnam. What I found even more appealing than I had imagined was the "difference" between the beach area and the city area. The beach area had a resort feel reminiscent of Hawaii or Miami, with beautifully maintained streets and a lively nightlife. On the other hand, the city area along the Han River had a distinctly Vietnamese atmosphere that evoked a sense of nostalgia, and a nostalgic streetscape that retained traces of the French colonial era. Even though it was the same Da Nang, it felt like two completely different places. This is a real travelogue summarizing my six days in Da Nang, a relaxed and enjoyable stay.
